She married a man and they, oh yes, I remember they didn’t live a happy life after all, instead, they had to run the kingdom. Let’s face it, to make a society of millions and a bustling economy work like clock is beyond drudgery, so it’s no wonder the princess succumbed to her stress and became morbidly obese and eventually exploded like a balloon hit by a nail.

However, the hat is no mere trinket and as it soon turns out, a seemingly trivial task is but a prediction of dark events to come…

Houses were varied in design yet they were not strong in numbers in spite of the town being large. They were lavishly coloured and vividly shaped. One resembled an overgrown white toadstool with red dots. It was surrounded by mushrooms, making it look like a small mushroom forest. Another was shaped into a children’s slipway with jungle gyms of bizarre curves around it.

A person stranded within the depths of a society that became insane and bent on killing one another struggles to survive and to cast the madness down in hopes of righting the wrongs he finds himself in. The second volume delves deeper into the insane world where the protagonist arrives at a toxin facility in an attempt to shut it down. Even though it seems apparent that the facility is a source of air pollution and perhaps even a plague responsible for the madness, something seems fishy.

...It was the seventh sign so far. It always said the same:
“Factory of death. I produce the deadliest toxin ever made and spill
 the air with it. I will make it eat you inside out and you will scream like
a little child while you rot alive. You are just a mile away now. Continue this way.”

A person stranded within the depths of a society that became insane and bent on killing one another struggles to survive and to cast the madness down in hopes of righting the wrongs he finds himself in. The first, introductory volume tells about his travels around and in the Corrupted City, where he conceives an idea to stop the madness by hunting down the leaders of the Corrupted City and finds a hint of who might be behind the madness ruling over humanity.

...Immediately as I did so, I turned around to watch the mass suicide ritual. People were crawling to the top of the pile, slaughtering others in a brutal fashion with whatever they had. One stabbed another with a knife and carved some symbol into his body. Right after he ended, he was hit in the head by a large stone. A maniac was bent on cracking his skull open and making a mush out of his brain until somebody shot him in the back. Then another chopped the sharpshooter in half with a large butchering knife...
